Mentoring, Teaching & Outreach
Lab Values
In our lab, we are committed to fostering a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion. We welcome and respect individuals of all races, ethnicities, countries of origin, religious beliefs, genders, sexual orientations, and abilities. Our group is dedicated to creating a positive and supportive environment where everyone feels valued and empowered to contribute. By embracing our differences and treating one another with kindness and respect, we strive to build a collaborative community that uplifts and inspires.
Mentoring
Dr. Yu’s mentoring objectives revolve around creating a training environment that not only embodies and values the next generation of diverse scientists but also empowers them. The core elements of her mentoring approach are structure and adaptivity. For more details, please read here. (Please link here to the pdf attached).
